Joleen K. Youngers is a trial attorney and the owner of Youngers Law, PA. Her practice focuses on cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, civil rights, sexual abuse, discrimination, sexual harassment, and whistleblowing. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Youngers serves as a personal representative in multiple wrongful death claims as a guardian ad litem for children and incompetent persons in personal injury and civil rights litigation.
Ms. Youngers has been selected to Super Lawyers for many consecutive years. She has been designated by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer and by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel as a Top One Percent Member.
While Ms. Youngers spends most of her time litigating, she also frequently teaches trial advocacy and Continuing Legal Education courses for law students and trial lawyers. Ms. Youngers instructs in multiple public and private National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) trial practice and deposition skills classes each year, to include programs around the United States and in programs as far away as Japan. She often serves as an adjunct professor for the University of New Mexico School of Law trial advocacy program, working with students as both a coach and lecturer on trial skills. Ms. Youngers is a member of the board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association (NMTLA), and she chairs the NMTLA Annual Tort Seminar, which is a continuing legal education program for those in the legal field.
