YouTube channel showcases negligent driving habits in New Mexico

In recent years, New Mexico hasn’t fared well in ratings of driver safety. Even though the state didn’t land in Smart Asset’s 10 worst states for drivers 2019 study, locals are taking this information with a grain of salt. Just ask the person who runs Buster-Mobile ABQ, a YouTube channel highlighting the negligence of many of New Mexico’s drivers, primarily in the Albuquerque metro area.

Footage shows a variety of dangerous scenarios

In the videos, the YouTuber drives around the Duke City with a dashcam recording the drive. The camera records motorists who:

• Did not use their turn signals properly
• Randomly cut off other drivers on the highway
• Ran red lights
• Drove well over the posted speed limit
• Sped up in the opposing lane of traffic to pass others
• Tried to hit other drivers with their vehicles
• Make too-wide of turns, nearly resulting in head-on collisions
• Flipped off other drivers even though they were the ones at fault
• Aggressively tailgated behind others’ vehicles
• Turned left in an intersection into oncoming traffic

In one video, a driver brakes on a busy freeway, causing a massive pileup.
